Отношения (англ. Mating) — важная часть жизни кота. В игровом смысле это отдельная механика, которая дает увеличить население города за счет открытия котят.
Изначально вкладка отношений в профиле кота закрыта, потому что коты могут вступать в отношения только по достижении 30-го уровня и открытии второго навыка. Некоторые из собираемых котов сами являются котятами, поэтому и не могут образовывать семью.
Содержание
Этапы [ ]
После выполнения условий выше открывается вкладка «Отношения». Процесс построения семьи в общем случае состоит их четырех этапов.
Этап 1: найти партнера [ ]
На этом этапе в течение четырех часов кот ищет свою вторую половинку. В случае удачи можно перейти на следующий этап, иначе выводится сообщение о неудачном результате. Не все коты, однако, находят себе пару, оставаясь одиночками. Запуск поиска партнера стоит 50 игрушек 
.
Этап 2: быть друзьями [ ]
Здесь задача игрока состоит в том, чтобы заполнить специальный индикатор до ста процентов. После уплаты 20 за каждую попытку повысить прогресс дружбы игроку предлагается остановить вращающиеся картинки так, чтобы они совпали. Каждая пара картинок дает свой прогресс (консервы — 100%, щетки — 60%, коробки — 40%), но обычно двух-трех удачных остановок достаточно. После этого коты начинают общаться в течение пятнадцати минут.
В результате они либо станут встречаться, что откроет третий этап отношений, либо решат остаться просто друзьями, а это означает окончание процесса создания семьи.
Этап 3: проверить соответствие [ ]
«Проверка соответствия» представляет собой викторину с тремя вариантами ответа. Вопрос и ответы остаются одними и теми же, так что даже в самом худшем случае придется взять три попытки. Каждая попытка стоит 50 , после выбора верного ответа котам понадобится еще три часа.
Когда это время истечет, коты официально поженятся. А дальше следует их выбор: если они хотят котят, открывается четвертый этап, иначе они просто остаются вдвоем.
Этап 4: путешествие [ ]
Самый длительный этап создания семьи — путешествие. Оно стоит 100 и занимает восемь часов. Над домами путешественников появляется специальный значок с чемоданом, и они не появляются в городе. Ускорить процесс нельзя, нужно лишь терпеливо ждать.
В итоге пара возвращается с котенком, которого сразу же предлагают назвать. Все, теперь отношения точно завершены.

Геймплей [ ]
Вы — человек, уставший после рабочего дня и захотевший завести кота. Волшебным образом вы переноситесь с кошачий город, где вас уже ждет первый подопечный — Кроха. Постепенно вы становитесь все опытнее, а ваш город растет. В конце вашего пути вас ждет большая община котов, где все дружны и счастливы.
Всего можно найти 61 кота. Для этого нужно частенько наведываться в магазин, где продаются лотерейные билеты. Это, разумеется, не бесплатно: вам нужна рыба 
, которую производят разные постройки. Не забывайте собирать сердца 
и повышать свой уровень хозяина, иначе вы не сможете найти новых друзей!
Когда же все в сборе, можно поизучать навыки котов, чтобы увидеть новое их поведение, а также украсить свои здания декорациями. А еще город можно расширить даже больше, открывая котят. Вот только стоит сильно постараться, чтобы получить хотя бы одного из них.
А если вы любите секреты, попробуйте покликать по каким-то местам на карте либо попробуйте разгадать смысл названий некоторых зданий. Разгадаете загадку разработчика — и ваши старания будут вознаграждены!
Уровень игрока
Уровень игрока (англ. Player Level) служит основным показателем прогресса игрока в прохождении Cats are Cute. Кошачий город невозможно построить, не повышая уровня.
Описание [ ]
Текущий уровень игрока отображается в левом верхнем углу экрана, рядом с кнопкой просмотра ежедневных заданий. Для перехода на уровень выше необходимо набрать столько сердец , сколько указано рядом с показателем уровня. Повышение уровня всегда сопровождается получением небольшой награды в виде рыбы и кошачьей травы 
.
От уровня зависят количество котов, которых может содержать хозяин, а также максимальные уровни подопечных и зданий, где они проживают. Помимо этого, уровень неявно влияет на размер пакетов с рыбой и вознаграждения за просмотр рекламы (все это находится в магазине), а при достижении определенных контрольных уровней открываются некоторые дополнительные возможности.
На данный момент максимальным уровнем в игре является 1000-й, в то время как для сбора всех жителей города и полного улучшения построек и самих котов достаточно 61-го.

[Updated] Cats Are Cute List of Cats & Friends and How to Unlock Them (iOS & Android Game)
For everybody wondering which are all the cats available in the game and how to properly be a good cat parent, we have the most amazing Cats Are Cute list of cats and their buildings, so you will know exactly what each of the available kittens holds for you!
These cats are all obtainable through the Draw Cat option, so you will only need to keep collecting those Fish and Catgrass and continuously keep on improving your level to collect all of them. There are a total of 42 cats, so you are going to need at least level 42 to be able to hoard all of them (like a real cat mom/dad).

Currently, these are all the cats available in Cats Are Cute, but there are a few other furry (or feathery) friends that can join your cat exclusive town! Do you like cute raccoons? Adorable little corgis? Well, these are just a few of the other critters that can join you!
They don’t have a specific place that unlocks when you get them as the cats do. But they hang around the zones where you find them! So don’t worry about that lake being empty because cats don’t go swimming, because there will soon be another critter joining you!
Thanks to your help and contribution and a little bit more digging from our side, we have managed to figure out how to unlock a few more furry friends!

It needs to be adjascent to it so try placing fattys house ACROSS tge ztreet from tinys!
Did you tap on Fatty’s house? That could do the trick.
You have to place them next to each other making sure it is on the left side of tinys house. Did you put it on your left? Place it on the other side see what happens.
Put it on the right side of his house
Adjacent means next to, so it does need to be next to tiny not across the street. My next door was on the right of tiny, and I got the corgi. However it didn’t unlock until I’d levelled both tiny and fatty (next door) cats to level 5
I am at level 95 and I have unlocked all cats (subtext: I have no life, I agree!). What’s next? All my buildings are at highest reachable level 60 and the cats are getting there. What’s next? And is there any point decorating building and up-ing my cats’ skill level?
Wow how long did it take u to unlock all cats, I’m quite stuck when I have 9 epic cats left, like kept repeating for 6-7 times in premium draw
@Tofu – You have to accumulate enough grass and keep trying with epic level. I’d just keep moving time ahead on my phone and do epic draw back to back. I’d do like 5 draws in a span of an hour and that got me a lot of new cats
I had all my cats very early by luck I think and did all their skills and the houses all their decorative LVL 4 but you don’t get new characters. I’m sad because it says find 50 cats in the trophy section and I thought by LVL up all cats to 60 you might get new options but no mating or new cats appear.
We just have to wait for the developer to add in some new stuff (he said he’s an indie developer and that it’s gonna take him some time to upgrade the game)

I got all cats and buildings. But “discoverable building / cat” is still zero. What can I do to finish it?

Here’s exactly what I did, Susan:
1. Moved the building I had originally placed next to Tiny’s left somewhere else.
2. Moved Fatty’s house to the immediate left of Tiny’s house. (Has to be next door neighbors)
3. Tapped Fatty’s house once.

Ive gotten more than three restaurants but havent gotten the sparrow? :/ do they have to be together?
Mine are in a row, so that may be… But try tapping on the restaurants themselves. I was looking for the bird and got irritated and touched the chicken on the chicken shack sign. Like “this is the only darn bird I see!” Presto…found the sparrow! Lol

You will need 360.000 to build the Meow Bank. This is a special building that grows some 5 cat grass per day. You will also be able to grab the fishes from the two adjacent houses if you grab them, ie. max of 3 houses with gish can be collected with one tap. With more fish 3.6 million (!) you can get 12 places and with even more fish in the bank you can have 20, 28 or 36 places collected at once.
I need help! I can’t figure out how to breed cats successfully. I have two cats ready to breed, and they are both different genders, but I am very unsuccessful. Any tips?
I recommend you level all cats to 30 with skill 2 and then you can mate them, otherwise it might not be able to find the mate. Max, for example, is single so you can mate him whenever, but say Sam and Sunday, they mate, and you need to level both to 30 and skill 2, then tell either one to mate (not both).
