Thank you for FINALLY adding filters to the notifications!! We’ve been using this system for 4.5 years now & that was the worst part! I’ve tested it out, and currently filtering by camera is not working, it does not even let me select the camera “front door”, regardless of whether the device (long number) is selected or not. I’ve also been having issues over the past month or so with the main screen not loading as if I have no internet, and I have to kill the app & reopen & then everything works fine. I know I have internet because I was just on the web on other apps Facebook, Twitter, etc right before opening ezviz. Thank you so much for adding filters! ☺️
App locks up and still lacking native ipad support
I’ve been a long time user of ezviz cameras. The app has always had intermittent issues but are usually patched pretty quick. For a while now I’ve been having issues where the app can’t connect to the internet. It’s fine on all other apps but then when I open ezviz it will say it’s refreshing and just sit there. I have to completely close the app via the app switcher and then go back and it will load fine. Also I’m constantly being asked to login again even though I turned on face id login. Also the doorbell doesn’t show a preview. I’m sure it will be fixed eventually but still annoying
Other main issue I’ve been waiting on since the beginning is lack of ipad support. It will run in a compatibility mode but it as I use the ipad in landscape view it doesn’t rotate items like the login screen requiring me to tilt my head to read the screen. Oddly enough the rotate works when viewing cameras though. I think ezviz is missing a big opportunity here as having an ipad with the 2×2 grid of cameras would make a perfect security monitor. Don’t know where adding ipad support is in their priority list but wish it was given more attention.
App intermittently logs out
Not as stable as I had hoped. I have no idea why the app seems to periodically log out. This is an unfortunate situation because you will believe that all is well and the doorbell is monitoring and will record when motion is sensed or you get an alert when someone rings but you won’t. I submitted this question via the app and I haven’t received an answer as yet. My other devices or apps do not log out so I know it’s not a fault with my internet or data plan. Please fix it!
I’m a little surprised at the ‘textbook’ response to my concern. Surely I am aware that in order to use the app, I need to sign in, open it, and keep it running in the background. This isn’t the first video doorbell or security notification app I am using. I have done all of this. The issue is after signing into the app and letting it run in the background, the app for no apparent reason signs out and then I have to enter my password again to sign in. This is a little frustrating because I miss instances when someone rings my doorbell and I’m not home, someone comes up to my door or gets within the range I have defined. I am not able to respond on time if I have to sign in my password each time the doorbell rings. I will contact the email address as indicated for further assistance.

App shows events even though they’ve been deleted.
The app on the Home Screen has started displaying events even though all events have been deleted. It is displaying a running total of all events, I presume since an update as it didn’t do this before. There are no events in the library left to delete however it is, at the moment showing over 100. When the app is opened there maybe a few events and when deleted the events on the Home Screen disappear. Following the next event the total of the previously deleted events reappear on the Home Screen even though there may have been one or two events since the last one were deleted. Please can this be investigated and resolved ??

Ez in its title, easy in its use.
I cannot praise these CCTV’s enough or the app or the support crew, they are awesome. I bought a mini one back in 2019 with some hesitancy, however, due to its extemely ease of use, connection and set up, my home security has grown to two external and four internal cameras. I love them. The developers listen to everyones feedback and address their software to suit and, over the updates, the layout, design and ease of use improves beyond. The clarity night and day is fantastic even over 4G data usage and, although there is a slight transfer delay, the two way communication is sound. That being said, the delay, methinks, is down to my internet set up as opposed to the equipment or maybe because I havent taken up the offer of icloud storage, I have installed the alternative method of SD cards which may be the cause of the slight delay, however, I am more than please with an excellent purchase. Thankyou EZVIZ.
False alarms drive me mad
I guess if I am strictly writing a review of the app, the answer is it’s okay. My issue is more with their cameras and clearly if you are looking at the app, the performance of the camera is pretty important. The key for me was to have a camera with an alarm built in so if it sensed an intruder the alarm sounds as well as recording what’s going on.
Clearly, Ezviz consider small flying insects buzzing around at 100 mph, as being a threat to my home security, as they continually set it off. Basically the sensor on the camera is utterly useless and the number of false alarms mean you have to turn it off. I have turned the sensitivity right down and tried to zone off some of my garden. It still goes off all the time. Ironically if I do leave it on I suspect this probably means to 6ft burglar now won’t be spotted but a small insect flying around the camera will.
Surely they can write software that can differentiate between a small insect and a human being.

Telecamere da interno Wi-Fi
Attualmente il sistema funziona molto bene, ho 4 telecamere e la funzione di visione diurna e notturna sono buone ( spesso la visione notturna e migliore della diurna con scarsa luminosità ), l’audio in ingresso e in uscita funziona bene.
Tasto dolente nella registrazione dei video, in funzione continua ( ho dotato le mie telecamere di memoria da 16 e a volte nel momento della formattazione della memory una delle 4 telecamere va in stop e si disconnette dalla rete e non si collega più in automatico, ( questo capitava con gli aggiornamenti precedenti ) Quindi bisogna manualmente ricollegarla dalla app. E intuitivo osservando la telecamera per la funzione del led di controllo che lampeggia in blu o in rosso quando è in anomalia. Questa funzione la di può deselezionare. Registrando in funzione allarme invece tutto funziona correttamente e anche le memory si formattano benissimo. La funzione di criptare le memory può essere utile e non dipende l’utilizzo fatto. Dalla app ottima la funzione di zoom di un particolare sia del video registrato o di quello online direct. Il costo delle telecamere e irrisorio ( quelle che ho acquistato e che nel complesso stanno funzionando da 1 anno e mezzo. Ottima la funzione di oscuramento della superficie registrata dalla cam ( se essa viene installata in un luogo dove per legge si visualizza vicinato o luoghi pubblici si può oscurare parti sensibili. Nel complesso è un buon prodotto ad un costo molto accessibile.

Ottimi prodotti ed app bella
Ho tre modelli di telecamera diversi, sono montate oramai da diversi anni ed una è all’esterno completamente esposta alle intemperie e connessa ad un cubo tre lontano per cui con una connessione wi fi debole. Nonostante ciò MAI e dico mai una disconnessione (ho altre marche che invece almeno una volta ogni due o tre mesi vanno resettate e casini vari).
L’app è semplice ed intuitiva con funzioni molto comode, fighissima la possibilità di condividere solo una delle telecamere con altri utenti e la possibilità di attivare il “fuori casa” per tutte le telecamere con un solo tap.
Il sensore di movimento da dei falsi allarmi, ma non me la sento di inficiare il voto per questo aspetto, sono telecamera da meno di 50€ che e per quello che costano fanno ben più del loro dovere!!
UNICO NEO: a differenza di altre marche su queste telecamere non ricevo la notifica APP quando una telecamera si disconnette (ripeto mai una disconnessione dovuta a guasto ma a volte capita se va via la corrente o se ci sono problemi di rete).
