What’s the difference between JBL QuantumSURROUND and JBL QuantumSPHERE 360?
JBL QuantumSPHERE 360 is JBL QuantumSURROUND that’s kicked up a notch by using a head-tracking sensor to fix sounds in 360 degrees of space around you. With typical headphones, when you move your head, the soundscape follows your movement. But with JBL QuantumSPHERE 360, if you rotate your head, the sound source’s perceived location stays in place because the head-tracking sensor compensates for your head movement. For example, if there’s a sound coming from in front of you, and you turn your head to the left, the sound source’s perceived location moves to your right ear—the sound stays locked in space as you move your head.
Also, the human brain uses small head movements to distinguish if sound sources are behind or in front of us. The brain processes the differences between when a sound arrives at the left vs. the right ear to determine where the sound is located. If your game outputs only 2-channel audio, using JBL QuantumSURROUND will sound like a pair of studio monitors in front of you. 7.1 Surround configuration set up guide
To configure the 7.1 Surround feature on your PC, please follow the guide below:
3. Make sure that your the Quantum Headphones is your Default Device for both Speakers ( Game ) and Earphone ( Communication device )
5. Select 7.1 Surround and click on Next
6. Make sure that all boxes are selected, then click Next
7. Make sure both boxes are selected, and then click Next
8. Click on Finish. Now your Quantum headphones is configured for 7.1 Surround sound. The configuration will remain after rebooting PC or reconnecting headphones.

Компания JBL в представлении не нуждается: известный бренд, давно на рынке, достойные продукты в плане звука. Для игроков у компании существует линейка Quantum, и теперь JBL представила свой самый мощный и дорогой продукт в этом классе — JBL Quantum ONE.
Что в коробке?
Комплект классный: гарнитура, съёмный микрофон, микшер со встроенным USB Type-C, кабель 3,5 мм с элементами управления под смартфон и специальный наушник-сенсор для калибровки звука.
Микшер довольно крупный, но зато не даёт жестковатому проводу себя переворачивать. Регулятор микширования чата и звука игры плотный, случайно не заденешь.
Внешний вид
Гарнитура выглядит агрессивно и громоздко — широкие чашки, большие дутые амбушюры и такое же оголовье.
Конструкция и материалы хорошего качества, в надёжности сомневаться не приходится. Аж три зоны подсветки, каждую из которых можно настроить отдельно: логотип в центре, тонкая полоска вокруг лого и маленькие лампочки в районе микрофона.
Несмотря на такую иллюминацию, ни один из блоков подсветки глаз не режет. Настройка размера стандартная — отсечки на оголовье. Съёмный микрофон прорезиненный с индикацией работы. Как и в большинстве гарнитур, звук микрофона средний, но ваши сокомандники отлично вас услышат.
Кнопки и разъёмы
Все кнопки управления находятся на задней части левой чашки: активное шумоподавление, центрирование на источник объёмного звука, колёсико громкости и кнопка микрофона.
На самом деле не очень понятно, зачем здесь шумоподавление, потому что с этим отлично справляются большие плотные амбушюры — даже в нерабочем состоянии внешние звуки отлично глушатся. Также на левой чашке есть разъёмы USB Type-C для подключения к микшеру и 3,5 мм для, например, смартфона.
В первую очередь после подключения необходимо правильно настроить гарнитуру. Для этого в комплекте идёт наушник-сенсор. Следуя инструкции в приложении, вам необходимо по очереди вставить этот наушник в каждое ухо. Программа мерзкими звуками просканирует пространство и выдаст рекомендуемые настройки. Если вам не понравилось, можете попробовать ещё раз и потом сравнить с предыдущим результатом.
Также вам доступен эквалайзер, настройка подсветки и пространственного звука. Огорчило отсутствие настроек микрофона, можно было какое-никакое шумоподавление для него сделать. Из пространственного звука доступны DTS 2.0 и фирменный QuantumSPHERE 360 — именно его вы настраиваете при первом запуске.
Впечатления
Гарнитура сильно зависит от программы JBL Quantum ENGINE и может конфликтовать с другим софтом, который связан со звуком. Но если вы всё сделаете правильно, то объём заработает прекрасно. Даже там, где нет сильного упора на объёмное звучание, JBL Quantum ONE отлично справляется с этим эффектом.
В Cyberpunk 2077, например, шум улиц города разливается равномерно по довольно большому пространству. Благодаря качественному звуку и хорошему ощущению объёма в Call of Duty: Warzone становится в разы проще определить расстояние и направление шагов врага. А датчик положения гарнитуры не сбивает ваше ориентирование при вращении головы.
При прослушивании музыки басы слегка проглатываются каким-то скрытым лимитером. Не критично, но некоторые мощные музыкальные партии звучат чуть сдавленно, словно им не дают играть в полную мощь. В режиме DTS, без фирменного Quantum SPHERE 360, гарнитура звучит странно. Но какой смысл не использовать основную фишку устройства? Для долгих сессий JBL Quantum ONE тяжеловата, со временем начинает чуть давить, потеют уши — но речь идёт о действительно длительных забегах.
Вердикт
Гарнитура JBL Quantum ONE стоит 18 000 рублей, и за эти деньги вы получаете отличные эмоции как во время игры, так и во всех остальных развлечениях — будь то кино или музыка. Но это всё-таки не наушники для меломанов, а довольно хороший инструмент для игроков.
Особенно рекомендую для CoD и других подобных игр — услышать подкрадывающегося врага бесценно.
